DEVLOG #12 Playing Peekaboo

Helloooooooo Begoners!

Today we are sharing a bit more about The Peekaboo Man (or PBM as we affectionately call him). PBM is a tricksy fella, he loves to toy with his prey (see: you). When facing off against him he will pull individual players into a twisted game of… well… peekaboo. 

We built a fun little set for him to hide in. It looks something like this in-engine:

And here is what it actually looks like in game:

During this section, your allies have a bigger view of the PBM’s general position, so they can scream out his location to you…  if they are so inclined. And if you are all lucky (or unlucky I suppose) you may catch a glimpse of his true face...
