DEVLOG #14 Snack Time Part 2: Snack Attack!
Hungry, hungry greetings, my good Begoners!
As promised, we’re back for Snack Time Part 2: Snack Attack! That means more snacks than ever to satisfy your pre-banishment cravings!
First is a critical morning ritual that feels like a treat at night–CRIT BITS!! Nothing quite compares to the shiniest, crunchiest, corn-puffiest delights known to kids! These puffs pack a punch and a half, and they never get soggy like those other, wimpier corn-puffs! (I seriously timed them for three hours and twenty-one minutes in milk!!) Benny thinks Deacon looks like the Bits Bunny, and I sort of hate to admit he’s right. We still let Deacon have some, though : )
If you’re looking for something beefier than cereal, there’s the stupidly large SUPER BURGER!! This thing’s stupidly hard to lift! It’s even stupidlier hard to bite, though supposedly Edith can chomp it bun-to-bun!! Anyway, if you manage to at least mostly finish it (while sneaking some to the dog), you’ll probably unlock your true potential! By which I mean you’ll be able to power your super-abilities far longer than normal kids power their super abilities. Which’s pretty cool! Also the cheese amount on this thing is three. There’s three patties.
If that big dumb burger was too much for you, maybe you’d be interested in something sweeter… a hundred centi-bites sweeter, to be precise, because I’m talking SWEET’R BY THE MEET’R!! A single roll can fully wrap around Ate with enough left over to tie a bow. And according to Ate, a single roll can be made to wrap around Benny so many times that he has to get it snipped off by the fire department! She says that’s happened twice!! If you eat the stuff, you get stretchy and it helps you do things, so once we learned that, the team decided to stop tying things up with it…
Another POP-ular sweet snack is the TURBO POP! You can wear it as a preciousss, I mean a ring, and I swear it makes you feel like the guy from Robin Hood! (I forget his name, the main one?) Anyway, what I mean is you’re all speedy and snappy, because you feel like you’re wearing important stolen jewels or something! You mainly just have to be careful though, because these things are surprisingly pointy, and I think they’re not technically supposed to be sold anymore. Deacon says he sometimes uses one to do precise details on his carvings, since it’s sharper than his knife >.<
Okay, now this’s one of Lola’s signature desserts, which is why I saved it for last: the SUPER HALO HALO!! What makes this dessert SUPER?? Lola won’t tell us. But it does make you feel like you can take on this and any other world! I know a lot of kids get sort of awestruck by the super-colors and daunting size of this treat, but Ate and Benny will literally shovel one down in seconds! Benny says his favorite part is the red stuff at the bottom…! Or maybe, no, he says, it’s the green blocky things…! Or sometimes, actually, the little marblies…! Okay, it’s hard to get a consistent or clear answer from him while he’s eating, but obviously, he’s super-enjoying it!
Well that’s it for this September’s snack-report. I’d say stay tuned for more snack-profiles, but I’m worried Lola’s gonna get mad if she finds out we keep sharing them… >.<
Still, peek in again next month, and maybe we’ll be able to sneak you a Part 3, or something else fun!
Deliciously Yours,
-The Tandemi Treatsters
And as always, deep breath… AAAAAAAA AAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAA AAAAAAAHHH!!!!
